The Corsair is about ready to begin the painting work which will see it on the show circuit this year as KD345 of 1850 Sqn based on HMS Vengeance of the British Pacific Fleet in December of 1945. The scheme is essentially an all over deep blue, the British Pacific Fleet roundel and a bright yellow cowling. The outer wings are off the machine and the removal of paint from the internal areas exposed has just about been completed.
