It seems that the engine overheating problems on the Collection's Bristol Fighter have finally been solved with some minor modification of the radiator itself. Extensive engine runs have taken place already and there is no sign of the heat dissipation difficulties that have troubled the aircraft since its rebuild.

The aircraft will be flown before then end of June to complete its pre-show checks. More good news is that its permit has now been issued, and Legends spectators will now be treated to the sight of two of these marvellous canvas-clad machines taking to the air in the two days of the show. The IWM's static Bris Fit will also be aired for the weekend, and there will therefore be three available for photos on the ground.
