Whilst outwardly looking pretty much the same as she did last update much is happening behind the scenes. The seat armour is being ready to be fitted and after the loan of on original piece from our friends in the USA the seat mounting casting is finished, machined and ready to mount the seat.

The landing gear latch and safety hooks are finish machined with just the mounting brackets to be fitted to the fuselage lower longerons to complete the B/C model uplock configuration.

The outer wing panel extensions have been dismantled to replace the upper and lower skins which had suffered some local damage and corrosion. We have also located and acquired an original filter unit for the engine air intake which will be restored and built back into the induction trunking once the engine is refitted.
