Beechcraft 17 Staggerwing G-BRVE |
This historic warbird has quite a history. Built as a UC-43B (military version of the Beech 17 Staggerwing) for the US Navy as BuNo 23689 (probably not applied) and then allocated serial 44-67724. It passed to the Royal Navy under Lend-Lease agreement becoming FT475 and operating from Scotland.
After the war it returned to the US Navy as BuNo 32874 before becoming civilian owned, carrying registrations NC1193V and N1193V.
The aircraft arrived at TFC in December 2005 |
