  Noorduyn AT-16 Harvard IIb
G-BTXI 42-892 14-429 [94]

The Harvard was the longest serving and most numerous single engined trainer ever built and played an extremely important role in many a fighter pilot's preparation for combat fighting, in fact Harvards have only recently been retired from service in the South African Air Force where they had given their all in training pilots.

The TFC Harvard was built in Canada during December of 1942 and it saw subsequent service with No 6 Service Flying Training School at Dunnville. An ex Swedish Air Force Harvard II, Serial No 14-429 and registered G-BTXI on the UK register, it was acquired by The Fighter Collection in 1990 and has been restored to flying condition gradually since then, including fitting of the original bomb racks and machine guns.

This aircraft is available for Film and TV work.
