In 1998 it was returned to the US for a full rebuild, and returned to Duxford in 2000. Further work was needed before the Mustang flew again and that happened in 2005.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This aircraft departed TFC in 2007, and now resides in the US. It did return to the UK in 2013 to take part in Duxford&#8217;s Eagle Squadron celebration during the May Airshow.
