  • Tuesday update

    Lots of brilliant photo reports around the internet. In brief a busy day for the team at TFC with test flights and display practices from the Hellcat, Bearcat Gladiator and notably Corsair (first time in the air since 2012) as well as other display participants.

    The P-40C had engine runs to whet the appetite. To add to the splendid photos around is this short clip (-if we are honest the Corsair is from earlier this year – many thanks to Greg for that and catching the P-40C on the move!)

  • Mustang Engine Run

    Amongst other going ons today, the Mustang was out for an engine run prior to a test flight.

    In the afternoon the Hawk 75 was up for a flight, and early evening the Mustang was up, photos in the gallery below.

    This morning at Duxford, the Boeing P-26 Peashooter arrived from Planes of Fame, Chino, in time for Flying Legends.

  • Friends of TFC renewals

    We  are  now  midway  through the update of our  subscription upgrade.  You  may  have received a cancellation from PayPal, this is  cancelling your old paypal account with us, don’t worry you are still enrolled in Friends of TFC.

    There are a number of  options you  can follow  depending on when your  subscription expires.  Please click HERE to find out what is  best for  you.

    You  will also see we  have added a  “log in” button to the  right of this page.  This will allow Friends to view an enhanced version of our diary  pages  (once you have upgraded and received a new and simpler password option.  There is no  cost attached  to this upgrade unless your subscription is due this month anyway) .
